with blindness and vision loss to move freely, safely, and independently in the

- A Control Module (controller): that you wear on your wrist or belt. With the controller you
enter a code assigned to a desired location or for an object. A navigation path to the location is
defined and audibly communicated to you through an earpiece.
- RFID Tag runners: have embedded tags to represent a specific location within a square foot
area. The runners will be installed on your floors and are used for step by step and room to
room navigation.
- RFID Tags (tags): are discrete individual object tags that are assigned to switches, handles,
remotes, and as many things as you wish to label for identification. You may get as detailed as
you like, such as labeling medication bottles or spices.
- Position Modules (modules): communicate your position and provide the starting point for the
navigation path. They can be worn on your ankles, head or shoes. With 2 apportioned
modules, one forward and one rear facing, you can receive detailed information about your
direction.
- A Wireless Earpiece: is worn for you to receive the audio signals for following a navigation path
and other information. You will hear gentle tones letting you know you are on the right path or
spoken words to announce obstructions such as a closed door.
- Vision Guide computer software: ties it all together. The tag location codes are recorded in the
software and it is the medium by which all information is transmitted and used for mapping,
navigation and communication.
- Motion Sensor: To announce the arrival of visitors, place a motion sensor by entry doors and
walkways.
- Water Leak Sensors: Place them under sinks, dishwasher, water heater and toilet. Vision Guide
will advise if there is a slip and fall hazard or when a service call is required.
- Wireless Fire and Smoke Detectors: Combine safety with convenience. Vision Guide will
contact the authorities for help and communicate the safest escape route.
- Motorized Air Conditioning Vents with Thermostats: Have individual room temperature
knowledge and control. Change the room temperature from the convenience of your desk or
sofa.
